Lee County Department of Community Development Receives American Planning Association Florida Award for The Place at Corkscrew

Cameratta Companies is proud to announce that the Lee County Environmental Enhancement & Preservation Overlay created for its The Place at Corkscrew proposed residential development has received an APA Florida Award of Merit in the Best Practices category by the Florida Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) during the recent APA Florida 2016 Conference held in Tampa, Florida on September 7, 2016.

The State of Florida recognizes First Street Village Publix Supermarket as an innovation in design in an urban environment, that promotes an active community by increasing pedestrian traffic and spurring new residential and commercial development.

The Goering Center for Private and Family Business 2007 Family Business of the Year award honors family businesses from Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia in four categories; companies with over 100 employees, companies with under 100 employees, corporate innovation, and community involvement. Winning companies are judged on the basis of their positive family linkage, business success, multiple family member and/or generation involvement, contributions to the community and industry, and for their innovative business practices, products and/or strategies.

The Helping Hand Award honors community members and companies who have gone above and beyond in their support of local Boys and Girls Clubs. Erika L. Entrepreneur of the Year

Ernst and Young selected Joseph Cameratta as one of the finalists for their annual Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The award honors outstanding business leaders of entrepreneurial companies. “In the face of a challenging business environment, Cameratta has displayed exceptional determination and savvy - and succeeded!” said Bryan Pearce, Ernst and Young Venture Capital Advisory Group Leader and co-host of the 2003 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year program.


2002

Broadview Heights Beautification Award

Located in the heart of Broadview Heights, Cameratta’s Plaza Broadview perfectly captured the ‘town and country’ feel envisioned by city officials earning the project the Beautification Award in 2002. This honor is awarded for the enhancement of business property and reflecting pride in ownership in the community.

Avon Beautification Award Finalist

The Community of Avon recognized Cameratta’s Parkview Federal Bank as a finalist for their Beautification Award.


2001, 1991

Cameratta Development Hosts Home-A-Rama

Cameratta’s premiere golf course community, Signature of Solon, located in Solon, OH was chosen to host the 2001 Home-A-Rama sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Greater Cleveland.


1997

Broadview Heights Beautification Award

Cameratta Properties’ First Merit Bank and Plaza, located in the heart of Broadview Heights set the standard for commercial development reflecting both a strong sense of pride in ownership and a commitment to quality design. The 1997 Beautification Award was sponsored by the Broadview Heights Chamber of Commerce.


1993 and 1994

Broadview Heights Beautification Award

Built and developed by Cameratta, the Homestead Creek subdivision carries on the companies award-winning tradition in Broadview Heights. The 86 custom-built home development was awarded the 1994 Beautification Award sponsored by the Broadview Heights Chamber of Commerce.


1991

Home-A-Rama People’s Choice Award

In 1991, Cameratta’s entry into the Cleveland Home-A-Rama won the coveted People’s Choice Award - the highest honor a builder can achieve at the Home-A-Rama. Cameratta’s home also won twelve other awards for its beauty, style and design. To date, no other builder has equalled or bested Cameratta’s 1991 showing with 13 awards at a single Home-A-Rama.
